Trainers Size Guide

All trainers on our site are listed in UK sizing. Find your size in the chart below, or use the measuring steps underneath if you're not sure what your size is.

Ordering from Germany or elsewhere in Europe? Use the EU column — it's the same system used across Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the rest of the EU. Find your usual number there and order the UK size shown in the same row.

UK sizing is the same for men's and women's trainers — the difference is only in how US brands label them, which is why both US rows are shown. If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend going up.

How to measure your feet

All you need is a sheet of paper, a pen and a ruler.

01. Tape a sheet of paper to a hard, flat floor. Carpet and loose paper will both give an inaccurate result.

02. Stand on the paper with your feet roughly shoulder-width apart and your weight spread evenly across both feet. Only one foot needs to be on the paper.

03. Mark the two end points. Holding the pen straight down rather than at an angle, mark the tip of your longest toe and the furthest point of your heel. It's easier if someone helps you.

04. Measure the distance between the two marks in centimetres.

05. Repeat with the other foot. It's very common for one foot to be slightly longer than the other.

06. Use the longer of the two measurements and match it to the chart above.
